This workshop supports professionals in intentionally creating environments where children and youth feel safe, respected and supported. Participants explore how trauma impacts behaviour, engagement and relationships, as well as learning practical strategies to embed trauma-informed and strength-based approaches into everyday practice. The focus is on building predictable, calming and responsive program or learning spaces that promote emotional safety, connection and resilience while reinforcing the strengths, capacity and well-being of children and youth.
