Boost CYAC is committed to advancing evidence-informed practice through strong partnerships between research and frontline service. We are proud to partner with the University of Toronto's Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and with Dr. Ramona Alaggia, Associate Dean of Research and Professor, whose internationally recognized work has shaped the understanding of childhood trauma, child maltreatment, and systems responses.
Boost CYAC is the inaugural community partner of the ThRIve Lab (Child & Youth Trauma Research Incubator), a collaborative research initiative dedicated to improving outcomes for children and youth exposed to trauma. Together, this partnership bridges research, practice and knowledge mobilization, ensuring that emerging evidence is translated into practical approaches that strengthen Child & Youth Advocacy Centres and multidisciplinary responses across Canada.
